LEARN TO ROW
Cooper Junior Rowing Club's Learn to Row summer camps are designed for students entering grades 6-10 in the Fall of 2026 who are new to rowing as well as returning athletes who have participated in a LTR camp or Developmental Team program before.
LOCATION: Camden County Boathouse (www.camdencountyboathouse.com)
7050 N. Park Drive, Pennsauken, NJ
COST: $350/week
SESSIONS: Space is limited! You may register for more than one session. Fridays are reserved as "rain dates" -- if camp is canceled due to EXTREME weather, we will attempt to reschedule for that Friday, dependent on the Boathouse calendar as well as staffing and equipment availability. Please keep in mind that we row in the rain!
Week 1: Monday 7/6 - Thursday 7/9, 8:00-10:00am
Week 2: Monday 7/13 - Thursday 7/16, 8:00-10:00am
Week 3: Monday 7/20 - Thursday 7/23, 8:00-10:00am
Week 4: Monday 7/27 - Thursday 7/30, 8:00-10:00am
SUMMER SWING
CJRC's weekly Summer Swing rowing program is for athletes with at least one season of competitive racing experience from any club or school, including alumni! The concept is simple: Show up for your session, hop into a boat, and get coached on technique. This program is perfect for those who are busy with other summer plans but would like to continue their rowing development and hone their skills. There is no race attached to this summer program.
**Please note that Learn to Row camps and Developmental Team programs do not count as competitive seasons.

SUMMER RACING TEAM (COMPETITIVE) Registration opening by 4/10/26
CJRC's Summer Racing Team is a high-performance, dynamic program ideal for rowers who are interested in developing and fine-tuning their competitive racing skills. Athletes will compete in small boats in the Independence Day Regatta July 24-26, 2026 in Philadelphia.
ELIGIBLE ATHLETES: This program is for rowers only. Athletes must have completed at least two (2) complete seasons of competitive rowing with any team or club (i.e. Fall season AND Winter/Spring season), and must be between the ages of 14 to 19 as of December 31, 2026. If an athlete is a graduating senior in 2026, they are still eligible for the team, even if they turn 19 in 2026. Permission required if athlete is younger than 14. SPACE IS LIMITED! Admissions are rolling - registration closes May 15, 2026 - secure your spot early!
PROGRAM INFORMATION:
- Weekday practice Monday-Friday from June 22 through July 27, 2026 (off Friday 7/3/26)
- 6:00-8:00am @ the Camden County Boathouse: 7050 N. Park Drive in Pennsauken, NJ 08109
- Daily practice is required for the duration of the program; any planned vacations must be conveyed to the Summer Head Coach before the start of practices.
